Happy Easter!
What a wonderful weekend we had celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus!
I really hope that as a mom I can instill Christ's love for my children as my mom did for us. I have a mother that is a wonderful example of how to walk in faith and rely on Jesus' love and compassion when you need it most. That is a lesson that was taught by example and I hope that I can do that as well. To really let Madison know how much Jesus loves her is my wish for her.

After spending the last two Easter's in East Texas at my parents house, we decided that it would be best if we stayed local, celebrated in our own community and attended our own church this year. It was the right decision. It was really the perfect family weekend.
We went to a little Easter carnival (carnival? maybe that is what it is called...) Madison loved it. She played games, had an egg hunt, went to the petting zoo and even jumped in her first bounce house, which caught us all by surprise!
Then on Sunday after church we headed to Jason's parents house for the egg hunt from the Easter bunny and lunch with his family. It's been over a month now and plastic eggs are still everywhere. She loved this. She ran and ran like someone else may be racing for her eggs -- she was the only one out there! It was great memories with plenty of laughs!
Plus, let's talk about this darling "All American" dress with those red shoes and that adorable Easter bucket that Madison's mom made! :-) Ha. Ha.
Life is Good. We are extremely blessed.
